Math 0308 - Internet

Welcome to the Internet version of Math0308. My name is James Alleman. I am your instructor.

Math 0308 is a challenging course for students as many students find the concepts of Algebra difficult, and Math 0308 is the foundation course for Algebra. The Internet version may be even more challenging to those who have never been exposed to Algebra previously, as independent learning is required to master the concepts. In addition to learning the concepts of Algebra, students must learn and follow the procedures for submitting answers. Students of Internet courses are expected to be comfortable and competent working online. If you are not willing to accept these challenges, you should consider registering for a more conventional lecture-based format with classroom instruction. There is great student demand for enrollment in this class, but there are a limited number of spots available. Students who exhibit reluctance to perform in a satisfactory manner will be promptly removed from the class. This Internet version of Math 0308 is basically designed for the student who needs a review of the material. A new student of Algebra will very likely have a difficult time with the material.
