Elizabeth: Ruler and Legend

Tudor England
Kingwood College Library

Elizabeth I, daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, ruled England from 1558 - 1603. Her reign is often referred to as the Golden Elizabethan Age. Queen Elizabeth I was one of the most loved monarchs of all time. The purpose of this web site is to assist library patrons in finding both library and Internet information about the period of Elizabeth I and the Tudor period.

This Elizabeth I, 1533 - 1603, website is in celebration of the Harris County Library - Atascocita Branch grant for the national traveling exhibition organized by the Newberry Library's Center for Renaissance Studies in collaboration with the American Library Association. The exhibit will be housed at Atascocita Branch from October 12, 2005 - December 2, 2005. Many thanks to Sara O'Neal, Branch Manager, for allowing Kingwood College Library to participate in this project.
