The first
of two developmental writing courses designed to improve the student's
basic writing skills. Class activities and lab assignments will
be used to produce clarity and precision in sentence and paragraph
structure. Specific course topics include an introduction to the
writing process and a review of grammar, usage and mechanics.
This course carries institutional credit but will not transfer
and will not be used to meet degree requirements. Prerequisite:
Placement by testing.
