Why Choose Kingwood College
Web Designers create the visual look of a website, providing a cohesive and well planned web site from the front-end. 3D Animators use computer animation where art and computer technology fuse in perfect harmony allowing the artist an opportunity to create and introduce the world to a character, object or thing that was once merely a sketch.

Kingwood College's Web Design Track (Track D) and 3D Animation Track (Track E) will prepare you for entry-level positions within these exciting careers.  Coursework includes web design, basic animation, 3d modeling and rendering, digital imaging, interactive multimedia, and 3d animation. The program teaches the latest industry software in state-of-the-art labs (PC and Mac), interface design, navigation, modeling, animation, and much more from faculty experienced in the field. For more information about web design or 3D animation e-mail Donna Monteferante.

Student Testimonial
Paul Pepera - 2007 AAS Visual Communication – 3d Animation

“My experience at Kingwood College was one of advanced artistic development and technical proficiency, intense academic study, and also a lot of fun. The 3D Animation degree program not only covers the3D aspect of animation, but also delves into the creation of 2D animation, graphic design and illustration, and focuses heavily on traditional art education in beginner and advanced drawing classes, as well as other fine art studies. The professors genuinely care about each student's personal goals, as well as their goals following graduation, and make the education fulfilling and enjoyable.

I recently got accepted to and will be attending Savannah College of Design for the Fall 2007 quarter. SCAD awarded me a $60,000 scholarship based partially on my grades at Kingwood College and portfolio review from my art classes; virtually all of the classes I have taken at Kingwood College were transferable to SCAD. I also work with Dark Light Game's Darkest Hour and the Carpathian Crosses modifications for the Red Orchestra computer game as a 3D artist. My education at Kingwood College was not only beneficial, but it was crucial for my personal artistic, academic, and professional development.”
